Since 2013, Solectria has sponsored a softball team and invited any employee interested in playing, with or without experience, to join the team. Solectria is the only team in the league with only company employees - other teams seek sponsors and the most talent they can find. The team is comprised of employees from sales, customer service, quality, accounting, purchasing, engineering, shipping and receiving and production with talent levels ranging from playing college ball to those that have never played in their lives!
Over the past 3 years, the team's win rate has increased - no wins in 2013, 1 win in 2014, and so far this year, 3 wins and looking to increase the number of wins!
